the first show i attended at men's fashion week was issey miyake. i was running late and actually just managed to get into the show seconds before it begun. it was hot as hell on thursday and looking at all the guests it wasn't fashionable at all... we were sweating like pigs! i have no idea who tought of fashion shows in the middle of summer and by the looks of people they were questioning the same thing.
i loved the show though. the models were a real eye candy, wouldn't mind if they pulled a little carly mae jepsen on me. anyways... loved the road workers theme and the defile with the paper clothes. looked like something you can atcually wear, not just another recycled crap or so called conscious fashion. i tell you japanese definitely know how to do it and as the fashion week continued that was becoming more and more obvious.
