Eat. Drink. Chill. Party in Paris.

i decided to share my favourite spots and discoveries in paris... hope you'll find this post useful next time you visit the city of lights.

favourite spot in the city?
it has to be the steps in front of sacre coeur. i just love the view of the city, the music and the chilled atmosphere.

best place to live?
i lived in the 18th and curently i'm staying in the 9th. both places have their advantages and weaknesses but to be honest i haven't found the perfect place yet. maybe somewhere around etienne marcel or saint german des pres.

where to have real french cusine?
my friend usualy takes me to la grange bateliere for lunch. it's a very old and traditional restaurant in 9th with real french cusine and normal prices. they're only opened for lunch until 3pm, so be sure to be there early. and do order the dessert!

where to go when wanting to clear your head?
i love to walk on banks of seine from pont royal to pon't de l'alma.

alternative office space?
i use chez jean, since it's just across the street from where i live. you can also find many great places here.

best spot for picnics?
for sure it's champ de mars at the eiffel tower and parc buttes chaumont on a really sunny day.

where to shop?
to be honest i haven't really done any shopping here but i have discovered a few great shops: for vintage it's kiliwatch and free p star, for designer just stroll down rue saint honore or around the latin quarter. and don't forget collete.

morning dose of caffeine?
this one is a classic - starbucks. i love the one on bd des capucines just around the corner from opera.

where to party?
the best parties are for sure the ones that take place in the privacy of parisian homes. clubing is expensive in paris so home parties are very common. if you still want to go out there's always o'sullivans or oz and for a real clubbing experience showcase under pont alexandre.

best macaroons?
everyone knows la duree, but my favourite place is biscuiterie de montmartre on rue norvins.

favourite turisty spot?
jardin des tuileries. the park is great to just chill and watch people go by.

most beautiful view of the city?
except from sacre coeur, i find the view from arc de triomphe very beautiful.

favourite event?
paris always surprises me with unexpected happenings like the techno parade or last weeks zombie walk. the one event you have to experience is bastille day on 14th july.

best kept secret?
probably the coolest place i've been to is an african bar and restaurant le comptoir general.
