there are so many reasons to love stockholm, one of the most obvious being for all the amazing shopping. on my first stroll trough the city i found the gallerian shopping mall and it was my favorite destination ever since. bik bok, lindex, topshop, h&m, monki and neko sushi restaurant were always a must. even if i didn`t intend to spend it was always nice just to browse trough all the latest fashion. for more upscale window shopping downtown offered a great selection of displays. coffee to go and a walk past louis vuitton, nordiska, marc jacobs, gucci and acne where somewhat like breakfast at tiffany`s.
there`s one thing i learned during my travels and that`s to always buy local brands. swedish in sweden, spanish in spain, american in us. local brands are usually the cheapest, which was most obvious in us, but i`ll get there later.
stockholm was also the city where i had my birthday and i couldn`t have imagined it better. it was a beautiful summer day, started with the most expensive breakfast i ever had, continued with fun rides in an amusement park and ending with lunch in a japanese restaurant. unfortunately ships`s schedule always ends up all the fun but never the less it was the best bday ever, just because i spend it with my love.
i just realized i have only a few photos from stockholm, i guess i was too busy shopping... typical.
